Kate Lattey's characters - both human and equine - are so well-observed, so convincing, that I was completely drawn into Marley's life and felt every high and low alongside her. This is a wonderful book and I am already halfway through the sequel, Dream On, and am enjoying it just as much. Highly recommend.
